<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation apparatus capable of, even when some electronic components are picked out in an inspection process, stably transferring the same number of electronic components to at least two points or more in carry-out sections arranged in parallel with each other. <P>SOLUTION: A transportation apparatus includes a pickup and place unit that transfers an electronic component from a supply section to a holder of a carry-out section. The pickup and place unit includes: plural cams with a spindle attached coaxially with each other and having a first contour and a second contour; plural levers each of which has a cam follower at one end and a magnetized plate at the other end being interposed by the spindle; a magnetic holder for bringing the other end of the lever into contact with the outer periphery of the cam and releasing the same by attracting and releasing the magnetized plate; and a power switching section having a suction section for sucking and holding the electronic component at one end and bringing the other end into contact with the cam follower. By converting the rotary motion of the cam into a horizontal motion, the suction section is driven to move from the supply section to each holder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
