<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply apparatus capable of achieving high efficiency and cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The inverter includes high breakdown voltage transistors 1, 3, 5, 7 and low breakdown voltage transistors 2, 4, 6, 8. The transistors 1-8 include parasitic diodes 1a-8a. For example, a voltage higher than a threshold voltage is applied to gates of the transistors 1, 3, 5, 7, the transistors 2, 8 are turned off, the transistor 6 is turned on and the transistor 4 turned on/off. Few electric currents run through the parasitic diodes 1a, 3a of the high breakdown voltage transistors 1, 3; therefore, recovery currents of the high breakdown voltage transistors 1, 3 are small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
