<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure that makes a foldable part of a vehicle body folding type electric bicycle attached with a battery inside the frame difficult to be damaged. <P>SOLUTION: The mechanism enables folding of a back fork 22 and a bottom bracket in the vicinity of the connection pin 12 by the rear end of the down tube 4 of the vehicle body frame. The connection part of the bottom bracket includes at least one cantilever shaft extension part connected with the down tube in the condition in which the bicycle 1 is not folded. The cantilever shaft extension part contains at least one front end coupled to the lower part of the down tube by a horizontal shaft so that the back fork and the connection part can form a pivot block 2 that rotates together to the folded condition in the perpendicular surface toward the steering tube 10.
