<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a solenoid drive signal generator suitably used in pachinko machines, slot machines, and the like, as the generator using less power and being compact. <P>SOLUTION: A solenoid drive signal generator can achieve 75% power saving compared to the conventional 100% drive method during the holding time, since the solenoid drive signal generator generates signals for driving the solenoid at 100% power during a driving time when attracting the solenoid movable part comprising a coil and a diode connected in parallel, and generates signals for driving the solenoid by a pulse drive of 50% ON and 50% OFF during a holding time when the solenoid movable part is held by the attraction. The solenoid drive signal generator achieves a miniaturization and low price, as well as reduced a variation of time characteristic due to a simplified circuit configuration comprising: a CR timer connected to a first operational amplifier 5-1; a pulse generator using a second operational amplifier 5-2; one gate OR circuit 20; and one gate AND circuit 21. Since the pulse generator is arranged in the solenoid drive signal generator, power saving can be achieved by only setting the solenoid drive signal generator before a switching member such as an FET25 of a conventional circuit.
