<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which prevents the deterioration of organic EL elements due to diffusion of moisture remaining in the display device and thereby achieving excellent long term reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A display device 1 includes: a display region 3 formed by arranging organic EL elements EL on a support substrate 2; and a peripheral region 4 formed by providing a driving circuit of the organic EL elements EL on the support substrate 2 which is located around the display region 3. Further, the display device 1 is provided with an organic insulation film 12 for covering an entire region on the support substrate 2 where the driving circuit is formed. In the display device 1, the organic insulation film 12 is divided into an inner peripheral part 12a and an outer peripheral part 12b by a separation groove a formed by removing the organic insulation film 12 in a position of enclosing the display region 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
