<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator capable of taking the place of thermal power generation that causes air pollution including global warming and nuclear power generation that causes the risk of radioactive contamination and capable of being easily installed at a low cost with the global environment of no pollution put on a higher priority regardless of meteorological and site conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic force prime mover is a power generator that makes reciprocating linear motions of a traveling magnet between stationary magnets by switching operations of a magnetic wave shut-down body using energy of a magnetic force, characteristics of magnetic poles and same-pole repulsion and by converting the reciprocating linear motions into rotational motions for power generation.
