<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commutator manufacturing method which, in the case of resin molding of an insulator of a commutator using a mold, is capable of inhibiting the external projection of a molding resin. <P>SOLUTION: The axial ends of a cylindrical member 22 have a shape of steps with plural axially projecting portions (the folded ends 14a of risers 14, and the folded ends 15a and 16a of first and second inner claws 15 and 16). Heat-resistance rubber members 34a and 34b respectively provided at first and second molds 32a and 32b are put into circumferential clearances between the respective folded ends 14a, 15a, and 16a and sealed, and resin material is encapsulated in the cylindrical member 22 in the state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
