<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving simulator capable of giving an examinee a suitable speed feeling corresponding to driving simulation operation by the examinee without reference to a front gaze position of the examinee. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 20 compares a parameter computed upon the basis of a "human's vehicle control model" and associated with motion of a vehicle associated with steering, with a corresponding parameter computed upon the basis of actual operation by the examinee so as to determine far/near relation between the front gaze position of the examinee and a reference front gaze position. When it is determined that the front gaze position of the examinee is nearer than the reference front gaze position, the control device 20 controls a visual field image generation device 10 so that the flowing speed of a visual field image becomes slow. When it is determined that the front gaze position of the examinee is farther than the reference front gaze position, on the other hand, the control device 20 controls the visual field image generation device 10 so that the flowing speed of the visual field image becomes fast. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
