<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reach forklift that can enhance mobility, suppress power consumption during travel, and climb over an obstacle in a passage. <P>SOLUTION: The reach forklift includes a pair of right and left auxiliary wheels 43 lowered and grounded on a travel surface 23 from a space formed by a pair of right and left outrigger parts of a vehicle body 14 when a mast part 17 is moved backward and brought into a reach-in state, and moreover, stored in the space when the mast part 17 is moved forward and brought into a reach-out state. When the pair of the right and left auxiliary wheels 43 are grounded on the travel surface 23, trail wheels 22 of the outrigger parts of the vehicle body 14 are lifted up from the travel surface 23 with a drive wheel 21 of a body part of the vehicle body 14 as a center. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
