<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear body structure of an automobile, in which a suspension housing and a rear pillar are spaced in the back and forth direction, and which can prevent a side panel inner from falling down inside without increasing the number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: In the rear body structure of an automobile including a pillar inner 22, a pillar reinforcement 23, a suspension housing, and an outside reinforcement member 15, a closed cross section part that extends in the up-and-down direction is formed by a pillar inner 22, the pillar reinforcement 23, and the outside reinforcement member 15, and a seat bracket 4 is provided on the inside part of the vehicle width direction of the pillar inner 22, and the seat bracket 4 is connected to a first connection part x, at which an extension part 22b of the pillar inner 22, an extension part 23b of the pillar reinforcement 23 and a flange part 15b of the outside reinforcement member 15 are overlapped on each other, and is connected to a second connection part y at a rear side in the vehicle-body longitudinal direction than the first connection part x. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
