<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor temperature detection apparatus which accurately detects a temperature of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: According to this invention, a motor has a rotor and a stator in a motor housing and draws an oil accumulated at a lower part of the motor housing in response to the rotation of the rotor to perform lubrication and cooling. The motor has an oil temperature sensor that detects a temperature of the oil in the motor housing, detects a coil temperature of the stator by calculation performed on the basis of the heat capacity of the motor, the heat value of the motor, and the oil temperature detected by the oil temperature sensor, and detects the motor temperature on the basis of the coil temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
