<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of preventing proliferation of microorganisms such as germs and mold to maintain cleanness. <P>SOLUTION: In a control device of a washing machine, a standard-mode control section 50 controls a silver ion concentration of silver ion water to be supplied to a water tank 2 to a preset standard concentration. A step execution frequency determination section 51 determines whether or not the number of step executions stored in a memory 48 has reached the predetermined number of times. When the step execution frequency determination section 51 determines that the number of step executions has reached the predetermined number of times, a first silver ion concentration setting section 52 sets the silver ion concentration of the silver ion water to be supplied to the water tank 2 to a value higher than the standard concentration.
