<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cutter and the like in which a cutter can be operated with relatively small torque. <P>SOLUTION: A tape cutter includes: a slide cutter 15 for cutting a printing tape; a cutter frame 51 for supporting the slide cutter 15 allowed to perform cutting; cutter driving mechanisms 12, 14, and 41 for allowing the slide cutter 15 to perform cutting from a standby position to a cutting position; a tape pressing member 53 for pressing the printing tape against a receiving member 52 prior to the slide cutter 15; a coil spring 54 disposed between the slide cutter 15 and the printing tape 53 and urging the slide cutter 15 and the tape pressing member 53 in directions away from each other; and a return spring 16 whose one urging end is hooked to the tape pressing member 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
