<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a power source device for a CATV system which achieves high reliability, low cost, and high efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A power source device for a CATV system 100 is inserted into a coaxial cable located near a load and has a charger 10, a storage battery 11, an inverter 12, and a switch 13. The charger 10 connects with the switch 13. The storage battery 11 connects with the switch 13 through the inverter 12. The switch 13 connects the coaxial cable side with the charger 10 when electric power is supplied from a commercial power source and alternating current power is supplied to the coaxial cable and connects the coaxial cable side with the inverter 12 when the commercial power source breaks down. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
