<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive capable of exerting sufficient adhesion properties, excellent in durability, and capable of being used for optical applications without causing the decrease in a polarization degree even under heating and humidification conditions; and to provide an adhesive layer, an optical film having the adhesive layer, and an image display device using the optical film. <P>SOLUTION: The optical adhesive is a polymer composed of two or more monomers, wherein the monomers form two or more different blocks in the polymer, the block is formed of a homopolymer and/or a copolymer composed of two or more monomers, and a refractive index difference between those blocks is 0.015 or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
