<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger capable of outputting charging power to a battery, etc. with high precision within a wide voltage range of a few tens of volts to a few hundreds of volts. <P>SOLUTION: A charger 1 includes a converter section 4 that outputs a charging voltage to a battery 20 and a control section 5 that outputs a control signal of a pulse duration determined based on a voltage value of the charging voltage to a switching element of the converter section 4 to bring the switching element into conduction for a period corresponding to the pulse duration. The control section 5 changes an output interval of the control signal according to the voltage value of the charging voltage and increases the output interval of the control signal more as the voltage value of the charging voltage is lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
