<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker that can preventi a top board from being erroneously assembled. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of engagement pieces 51 are disposed on the front flange part 28 of an appliance 2. The engagement pieces 51 are provided with a first extension part 55 and a second extension part 56. A protrusion part 58 which is protruded in an arc shape toward the upper side is disposed on the second extension part 56. The second extension part 56 is engaged with the top end part of a curling part formed on the lower part of the front end side of the top board from the upper side. When the top end part of the curl part of the top board is not engaged with the second extension part 56 of the top end of the engagement piece 51, the curl part of the top board becomes such a state as to be placed on the summit of the protrusion part 58 disposed on the second extension part 56 of the engagement piece 51. In this case, the front edge side of the top board becomes such a state as to float on the upper side and a large gap is formed between the top board and a packing 70 fit to the engagement flange part 27 of the appliance 2.
