<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing structure of an internal combustion engine capable of preventing oil from leaking out to the frame outside, and also capable of reducing the number of part items. <P>SOLUTION: A cap fixing bolt 5 for fixing a main bearing cap 2 and a frame 1 and a side bolt 6 penetrated into a side bolt inserting hole 30 and threadedly engaging with the main bearing cap 2, are used. The side bolt inserting hole 30 has a tapered hole 52 having an inner diameter of becoming gradually small for going to the cap fixing bolt 5 side, a sealing hole 53 positioned on the small diameter side of the tapered hole 52, and a side bolt hole 54 of a smaller diameter than the sealing hole 53. The side bolt 6 has a collar part 70 positioned on the small diameter side of the tapered hole 52, and an outer peripheral surface part 71 having an outer diameter of becoming gradually small for going to the cap fixing bolt 5 side from the collar part 70.
