<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately recognize voice. <P>SOLUTION: A recognition device 20 includes a storage part 24, a first calculation part 26a, a second calculation part 26b, and a determination part 26c. The storage part 24 stores words included in each sentence and position information indicating the position of each word in each sentence. The first calculation part 26a calculates a degree of similarity by comparing an input voice signal with reading information on each character string connecting multiple words stored in the storage part 24. The second calculation part 26b calculates a connection score indicating a closeness between multiple words connected on the basis of the position information on each word stored in the storage part 24.
