NETWORK CONNECTION DEVICE, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide safe timing synchronization in a communication network, by that a network connection device accepts timing information of a grand master and requests a slave node to timing synchronize.

SOLUTION: A grand master 110 and a network connection device 121 support a best master clock (BMC) algorithm to determine master-slave relationship between the grand master 110 and the network connection device 121. When at least one slave node 122 does not support the BMC algorithm, the network connection device 121 compels at least the one slave node 122 into a slave without using the BMC algorithm.
