PURPOSE: A spindle motor and a manufacturing method are provided to install a cover member in a sleeve, thereby inserting a combination unit to an adhesive filling groove. CONSTITUTION: A spindle motor includes a sleeve(120) and a cover member(150). The sleeve supports a shaft to be rotated. An adhesive receiving groove(124) is formed in a lower unit of the sleeve. The cover member is installed in a lower unit of the sleeve. A combination unit(152) of the cover member is combined with the adhesive receiving groove. The combination unit is soaked in an adhesive of the adhesive receiving groove. |
