<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of improving temperature raising performance of a belt while using a heating control plate having a magnetic shunt alloy layer. <P>SOLUTION: In a fixing device of an electromagnetic induction heating system, a heating control plate 105 and a support member 106 for supporting the heating control plate 105 are disposed inside the peripheral path of a fixing belt 101. In the heating control plate 105 and the support member 106, a central part 150 in the belt peripheral direction of the heating control plate 105 and a central part 160 in the belt peripheral direction of the support member 106 are not in contact with each other via a space 90, and side edges 151 and 152 in the belt peripheral direction of the heating control plate 105 are configured to be supported in contact with side edges 161 and 162 in the belt peripheral direction of the support member 106. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
