<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of pump cycle operation of an air conditioner by reducing possibility of accumulation of a liquid refrigerant in a compressor during the pump cycle operation. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes: an evaporator which evaporates a refrigerant expanded by an expansion valve; a pump which carries out the pump cycle operation for circulating the liquid refrigerant flowing from a condenser in a stopped state of the compressor; a first temperature detecting means which detects a refrigerant temperature on an outlet side of the evaporator; a second temperature detecting means which detects a temperature of the refrigerant flowing in the compressor; and a heater which heats the refrigerant in the compressor. When a temperature difference between the refrigerant temperature detected by the first temperature detecting means and the refrigerant temperature detected by the second temperature detecting means becomes equal to or lower than a set temperature in a state that the refrigerant in the compressor is heated by operating the heater and the pump cycle operation is conducted by the pump, a rotation speed of the pump is decreased or an opening of the expansion valve is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
