<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavation shovel with which ground can be excavated smoothly and the excavated sediment can be discharged smoothly. <P>SOLUTION: An excavation shovel S comprises a pair of shovel bodies 1 and 2, and connection means 3 which connects the shovel bodies 1 and 2 movable relatively. The pair of shovel bodies 1 and 2 include shovel parts 6 and 7 directly or indirectly successively provided in distal ends of rod-like handle parts 4 and 5. The excavation shovel S is configured to connect/disconnect the shovel parts 6 and 7 with each other with the relative movement of the pair of shovel bodies 1 and 2.
