<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely weld together metal materials by a simple device structure even in the case of plated metal materials. <P>SOLUTION: The welding device 1 is adapted to weld together the plated metal materials and includes seam welding machines 2, 3 seam-welding together the metal materials, and a control unit 6. The control unit 6 controls the seam welding machines 2, 3 to perform pretreatment for welding to press out a plating material in a first pass going from a welding start edge toward a welding end edge of a superposing part 17 of a preceding material 15 and a succeeding material 16 which are conveyed one after another. Then, the control unit 6 controls the seam welding machines 2, 3 to seam-weld the preceding material 15 and the succeeding material 16 by applying again pressure and current to the superposing part 17 after pretreated for welding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
