<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data extrapolation device which can analyze and extrapolate various types of data without generating block noise and make the extrapolated data substantially natural. <P>SOLUTION: When original image data of a processing target is input, a data extrapolation device calculates a frequency f', amplitude A', and an initial phase ϕ' which make the minimum square-sum of a difference between a two-dimensional signal of the original image data and a sine wave model signal represented by the amplitude A' and a phase using the frequency f' and the initial phase ϕ', as parameters of the Fourier transform equation of non-periodic signals. Then, the device extracts predetermined number of spectra required for reconstituting image data, performs extrapolation processing on image data constituted by the extracted spectra while expanding a dynamic range of the image data by multiplying the image data by an optional invariable k, and calculates reconstituted image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
