<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffering device for packaging which is excellent in impact resistance and compression resistance and also excellent in elasticity and buffering property, capable of reliably carrying and transporting not only objects to be packaged with a middle to light weight but also objects to be packaged with heavy weight, prevents the body thereof formed of foamed polystyrene from being damaged even if an excessive impact force acts thereon, and reduces a material cost and a production cost. <P>SOLUTION: The buffering device for packaging includes the body 1 and a reinforcement 5 for covering the body.
