<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus, which is not intended by a user in printing apparatuses having the same name, capable of preventing printed matters from being left in the printing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When printers having the same printer name in printers signing-in a management server by the same account information exist, a CPU prohibits printing. Concretely, the prohibition of printing is performed by storing a print job stored in an RAM 33 to an NVRAM (S105) and setting a password for executing printing of the print job stored in the NVRAM (S106).
