<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer device of high reliability capable of accurately and stably detecting an opening/closing arm. <P>SOLUTION: The printer device includes: a print head configured to perform printing on a recording paper; a spring configured to pressurize the print head toward a platen roller side; and the opening/closing arm configured to rotatably support the platen roller. The opening/closing arm is mounted to the housing frame so as to rotate around an arm rotation shaft. A frame back support plate is connected to the housing frame.
