<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance radiation performance with respect to welding equipment appropriate for seam welding and its head structure. <P>SOLUTION: Welding equipment 1 includes a welding head base 231, a Z-axial movable member 260 movable in the Z-axis direction to the welding head base 231, and a roller holding part 236 which is provided on the Z-axial movable member 260 to rotatably hold a roller electrode 240 and supplies electric current to the roller electrode 240. The Z-axial movable member 260 is made from silicon carbide or aluminum nitride and has thermal conductivity, heat radiation property, and insulation property. Welding heat generated in the roller electrode 240 is transferred to the Z-axial movable member 260 via the roller holding part 236 and is simultaneously radiated out of the surface of the Z-axial movable member 260.
