<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush with a hygienically excellent replaceable brush face by which a foreign matter between teeth or on a periodontal area can be removed and a gum can be rubbed immediately anytime and anywhere without using a dedicated toothpaste or rinsing water. <P>SOLUTION: A bristle implanting base forming a brush part to be used in a knockdown toothbrush is configured as follows. In the brush part, an uneven through hole 2 piercing through a bottom face and having projections and recesses for reinforcing the connection of a handle base is formed at a vertically central portion of a brush base 1 in plan view, the brush base being formed in a ring frame shape and having a plane inclining toward the inside of the ring. Locking grooves 3 are formed on both lateral sides at the center of the uneven through hole 2 to lock a handle part. Tuft holes and uneven projection holes 5 penetrating through the bottom face and reinforcing the connection of the handle base are formed in a plane having a ring frame shape and surrounding the uneven through hole 2. A plurality of bristle tufts 4 are implanted at predetermined positions of the tuft holes in the plane.
