SETTING REMINDERS FROM AN INSTANT MESSAGING APPLICATION

PURPOSE: A reminder setting method and a device thereof are provided to generate reminders in an instant messaging application in a direct method. CONSTITUTION: A memory stores data for an instant messaging application. A processor(110) is automatically coupled with the memory for executing the instant messaging application. A user interface(140) receives a text input for the instant messaging application. An RF(Radio Frequency) transceiver chip(170) transmits an instant message including a reminder-triggering condition for the reminder. The processor responds to the reception of a text input through a user interface. The reminder-triggering condition is determined based on a predetermined symbol.
