PURPOSE: A fabric material dehydration apparatus for a water jet loom which uses idle power is provided to operate a dehydrating blower to dehydrate a fabric material, and to use the wind, which is discharged from the dehydrating blower, to dry the hydrated fabric material, thereby reducing electric energy consumption. CONSTITUTION: A fabric material dehydration apparatus includes a water jet loom(2) whose main motor(5) has a driving shaft(9) which is mounted with an auxiliary driving pulley(7). The auxiliary driving pulley is formed with a driven pulley(14) which is connected through a belt(18) to the auxiliary driving pulley. A dehydrating blower(12) is driven by the rotational power of a driving shaft(16) which is connected to the driven pulley. The air which is separated by a steam separator(28) is inhaled through an absorption pipe(36) to a suction unit(20) of the dehydrating blower. A discharge unit(22) of the dehydrating blower is connected through a discharge pipe(38) to a drying tube(26) which has a discharging long hole. A fabric material is dried by the wind which is discharged from the dehydrating blower, and which passes through the discharging long hole of a drying tube to the fabric material.
