PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to stably fix a light guide plate by inserting an elastic member into the light guide plate. CONSTITUTION: A light entry area of a light guide plate(123) includes a protrusion part(210). The protrusion parts are formed at both ends of the light entry area. A reflection plate(125) is formed in the rear surface of the light guide plate. Optical sheets(121) are formed in the upper part of the light guide plate. A backlight unit is mounted in a cover bottom(150). An elastic member(165) is formed between an opposite light entry area(123b) and one side of the cover bottom.
