摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of trimanganese tetroxide nanoparticles is provided to synthesize trimanganese tetroxide nanoparticles at a low temperature without using an organic solvent or a chemical additive by using a solid-state decomposition of an exfoliated 2-dimensional manganese dioxide nanosheet. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of metal oxide nanoparticles comprises the following steps: (a) a pH of an exfoliated metal oxide solution is adjusted; (b) a precipitate of the step(a) is separated and dried; and (c) the resultant of the step(b) is calcinated to perform a solid-state decomposition. The metal oxide is a manganese oxide. In the step(a), the adjustment of the pH is performed by adding an acid solution. In the step(a), the pH is adjusted in the range of 2-8. The step(c) is performed at a temperature of 150-400°C. Trimanganese tetroxide(Mn3O4) nanoparticles are manufactured using the manufacturing method of metal oxide nanoparticles. The trimanganese tetroxide(Mn3O4) nanoparticles are used as a NOx decomposition catalyst, a magnetic material, or a super capacity electrode material.</p>
