PURPOSE: A virtual channel composition method and a digital broadcast receiving device using the same are provided to deliver a broadcasting signal which has the same physical attributes as a media player by converting real time broadcasting signals or broadcasting signals recorded in a storage device. CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit(210) receives a plurality of first broadcasting streams. A storage unit(220) one or more broadcasting streams selected from the first broadcasting streams. A transcoder(233) of a virtual channel composition unit(230) re-encodes a plurality of second broadcasting streams transmitted from the storage unit with the same attribute. A multiplexer(235) of the virtual channel composition unit generates one broadcasting stream by multiplexing the second broadcasting streams.
