The component (5) has pair of thermoelectric n-conductors and p-conductors (6) connected together by electrical conductive contacts (7). The n-conductors and the p-conductors are covered by a glass tube (8) that exhibits triangular, square and/or hexagonal cross-section geometry. The glass tube is made of borosilicate glasses or alkaline earth alumosilicate glasses i.e. halogen lamp glasses. The glass tube is made of unavoidable traces being free of alkali metal ions.
