Colored mineral material (10), in which a dye (14) is directly bonded to a mineral (12) by a chemical bonding (16), is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) a suspension (18) for coating a surface comprising the colored mineral material and a bonding agent (20); and (2) a carrier coated with the colored mineral material.
