PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for optimizing the tack time of an LCD fabrication apparatus are provided to calculate the optimal operation condition for components and to control the set values of for the components, and to reduce tact time. CONSTITUTION: A data extracting part(110) extracts data from a LCD manufacturing apparatus. A tact time calculating part(130) computes the tact time of the apparatus based on the extracted data. An analysis part(140) analyzes the tact time according to the operation conditions of the apparatus and the analysis of the calculated data, and induces an optimal operation condition.
