PURPOSE: An interruption selective control method and an apparatus thereof are provided to give information about event occurrence to a user while maintaining an executing state of an application. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal includes a control unit(100), a communications unit(110), a display unit(120), an input unit(130), and a storing unit(140). The control unit includes an interruption control unit(102). The control unit controls and processes the whole operation of the mobile terminal. The interruption control unit senses event occurrence while the application is executed. The communications unit performs communications with a different node according to the control of the control unit. The display unit displays various state information, number, letter and image which are generated during the operation of the mobile terminal. The input unit includes at least more than one function key and a touch sensor. The storing unit stores various programs and state information which are required during the operation of the mobile terminal.
