PURPOSE: A distribution oriented data access system and a method thereof are provided to form domains which process an individual process based on the linked configuration between operation devices which operate a legacy system, thereby processing a process which fulfills multiple objectives. CONSTITUTION: First and second operation devices(100,200) form domains, which process first and second processes, and collect additional data from a slave device corresponding to the first and second processes by registering an operation device, which operates a legacy system, as the slave device. One or more slave devices registered in the first operation device are registered in the second operation device as the slave device and provide the additional data corresponding to the first and second processes to the domains.
