<p>The method involves manufacturing a metallic, one-piece body (2) which has a base body (3) and a reflector shell (4). A suitable material (5), particularly plastic material, is applied for forming a reflector surface in the optically active area of the reflector shell. The reflector shell is coated or reshaped with the material. The material is sprayed on the reflector shell, where the material is a thermoplastic. A dome (7) and fastening elements made from material are co-molded during the application of material. An independent claim is included for a light unit with a light-emitting diode light source for headlamp.</p> |
