PURPOSE: A method for automatically controlling a painting process is provided to implement a pre-process for inputting the information of a product and a worker before painting, thereby efficiently managing the performance of the worker. CONSTITUTION: A method for automatically controlling a painting process includes: a step(S40,S50) of painting a product using a painting unit; a step(S70) of measuring the thickness of the paint film of the product using a paint film measuring part; a step(S80) of updating a production condition with comparing the paint film with a production quality condition using a painting condition computing part; and a step(S90) of storing the information of the production condition which is computed by the painting condition computing part using a production information storing part. Before the step(S40,S50), a pre-process for the painting process is implemented.
