<p>A plant for producing hydrocarbon compounds has a renewable energy generator (e.g. using solar power), an algal biomass cultivator, an algal biomass harvester, an algal biomass dryer and a means for generating hydrocarbon compounds from the algal biomass. The algal biomass cultivator, the algal biomass harvester, the algal biomass dryer and/or the means for generating hydrocarbon compounds are arranged to utilise power generated by the renewable energy generator.</p> |
