An aquatic mask comprising an outer mask structure and an inner frame 10 suitable to hold an ophthalmic corrective lens wherein complimentary elements are provided on the frame 10 and mask to allow them to have a snap fit engagement. The snap fit engagement may be provided by a pair of parallel forwardly projecting protrusions or lugs 11 and 12 and an aperture with a rectangular cross section. The device is designed to make it easier for people who wear glasses to participate in aquatic activities such as diving or swimming.
