SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LOCATION BASED EMERGENCY CALL AND WEARABLE PHONE FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: A location-based emergency rescue system, a method thereof, and a wearable wireless communication device for the same are provided to transmit a rescue signal to a rescue agency located the nearest of a rescue requester by rapidly and correctly detecting the location of the rescue requester, thereby enabling rescue agents to arrive quickly on the location of the rescue requester. CONSTITUTION: A rescue requester generates a rescue request signal when an emergency situation occurs(S510). A base station forwards the rescue request to a management server(S520). The management server obtains the location of a wireless communication device by checking identification information(S530). The management server searches other wireless communication devices which are allowed to receive the detected rescue signal and located around the current location of a detected rescue requester(S540). The management server determines whether the number of wireless communication devices which are allowed to receive the detected rescue signal are greater than a predetermined reference number(S540). If the number of wireless communication devices is less than the predetermined reference number, the step S540 and S550 are repeated(S560). The management server transmits the rescue signal and location information about the rescue requester to the wireless communication devices which are allowed for reception(S570). A rescue agency or other wireless communication devices receive the rescue request through the base station(S580) and display the location information of the rescue requester as image information so that the corresponding rescue agency or the user of wireless communication devices go to rescue the rescue requester(S590).
