PURPOSE: A natural dye for garment and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to use a novel fomes mycelial culture solution as the dye, thereby improving color fastness. CONSTITUTION: A natural dye for garment is a mixture of 70 to 75 wt% of purified water, 4 to 6 wt% of a novel fomes mycelial nutrient solution, 18 to 20 wt% of an extract from lacquer tree, 5 to 7 wt% of an extract from lacquer leaf, and 3 to 5 wt% of a ferrous sulfate mordant. A manufacturing method of the dye comprises: a step of obtaining the purified water; a step of removing toxicity from the lacquer tree, manufacturing a culture solution, and then culturing the solution inoculated with novel fomes mycelium; a step of obtaining an extract from the lacquer tree; a step of obtaining the ferrous sulfate mordant; and a step of stirring the dye inside a wooden container with a stick. |
