The airbag assembly has an environment portion (1), in which airbag (2) is integrated. The airbag is folded at the edge, and the folded edge area (2.1) is non-positively and/or positively fixed to the environment portion. The layers of the folded edge area are fixed together by gluing and/or stitching. The folded edge area of airbag is screwed, riveted and/or hooked with environment portion by bolts. The folded edge area is folded and/or is inverted outside. The airbag is a front seat passenger airbag of the vehicle.
