PURPOSE: An image monitoring method using a mobile terminal and a system thereof are provided to support the real time recording and intelligent and quick search of an image stream and to guarantee the quality of camera image data. CONSTITUTION: A photographing unit includes one or more of a CCTV(Closed Circuit Television), a LOOP COIL, and a laser detector. A control unit recognizes and tracks a vehicle and a human from an image photographed in the photographing unit. A public safety control server receives, stores, and manages the recognized and tracked image through a wire/wireless communication network. A mobile terminal receives and displays an image transmitted from the public safety control server.
