<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of listing specific enterprise names with high relevancy from the description content of document data. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An associative retrieval system 10 includes: a keyword DB 32 for previously storing a plurality of keywords; an associative term DB 34 for previously storing the associative terms of the respective keywords; an enterprise name DB 36 for previously storing a plurality of enterprise names; a morpheme analyzing part 22 for dividing the inputted document data in morpheme units; a keyword detecting part 24 for comparing the respective morphemes with the keywords and detecting the keywords included in the document data; an associative term extracting part 26 for acquiring the associative terms of the respective detected keywords with reference to the associative term DB 34; and a relevant enterprise extracting part 28 for extracting the term relevant to the enterprise name among the respective associative terms as the relevant enterprise with reference to the enterprise name DB 36.
